I think that this is one of Billy Joel's most underrated albums. This is Mature Billy Joel writing songs toward/at the end of his career. A Great Song/Album will show its greatness over time. We will see that "We Didn't Start The Fire" will fade in popularity in time. As "they" say "The Cream Always Rises To the Top." As Time passes the music will Mature in Our Psyches. We will listen to this album and our perspective As We Mature will change. As an "Older Person" I feel I have that perspective so the songs that the Public likes I am not necessarily in sync with. I feel that the three weakest songs are the "rock tinged" songs: We Didn't Start The Fire, Storm Front and When In Rome. The Three Strongest songs: Leningrad, State of Grace and And So It Goes. These three have so much Emotion that anyone who has "Loved and Lost" will understand why I say this. (Leningrad because of the sadness that war can inflict on Mankind in General.) Lest we forget, or maybe some of you are unaware, Garth Brooks made a Huge Hit of Shameless playing it with a slight New Country flavor. So...In General..."Time Will Tell The Tale" of the Depth and Maturity of a Great Billy Joel Album (possibly His Best)!
